Mid May in New England brings longer days and slightly warmer nights. We start looking for blooming flowers along the road sides and breaking in that new pair of sandals. The farmers markets begin and the boats are being launched in the harbor. Its time to put away the heavy coats and pack up the skis. The beach roses are blooming and the fish markets are bustling once again. Summer is just around the corner.
Betty of Le Jus d'Orange and I are so excited to announce our second Table Sharing workshop. We are spending four nights in a renovated 19th century beach house in the colorful town of Oak Bluffs on the island of Martha's Vineyard off of Cape Cod. We will be exploring the island learning about photography, light, and how to create a food story. We will be visiting an oyster farm, learning about the sea farming process and how to properly shuck an oyster. We are planning many al fresco meals, a picnic on the beach and a chowder tasting. We are going to soak up the early summer sun and enjoy what it means to be vacationing on the Vineyard.Read More
